Husky Posted September 9, 2009 Share Posted September 9, 2009 thought id give this a stab on here incase i get lucky I have a little project on my plate from work involving mercedes and bmw vehicles. basically i need to gather as much information as possible regarding thier electrical networks and architectures. how thier gateway module interacts with the multiple CAN, flexray or ethenet possibly present. how diagnostics are performed on newer vehicles, which ports are used. what ports are present on the vehicles to access the networks. also any information on ways the vehicle is interfaced during PDI. the list goes on...... If anyone has any info on this, new models mainly or any contacts withing bmw/merc that could be of help please give me a shout it would be most appreciated!
