I'm thinking about satin black but would like to see an example first. I'm sure someone must have done it! Quote

rawbhp Posted September 9, 2009 Author Posted September 9, 2009 I haven't worked out what I'm going to do with my center caps yet. Is it possible to remove the 'Nissan' logos, paint the caps black, then re-attach them? Of course what I really want it black caps with satin silver Z logos... Quote
sunset350z Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 You can remove the logo from the center cap, just look at the back of it and you'll probably find its been melted in place by the 2 locating pins. Just grind them back enough to pull the logo off. When ready to refit just relocate the logo in position, and use something like a 2 pack resin glue (easily available from halfords etc) and pour on the locating pins on the back of the cap so that no glue is anywhere near the front of the cap.
