view new posts...

Hi can you add the "view posts" search to the ones on top banner...the ones that have FAQ-Gallery-Search-Members lists-User Groups etc.

 

This tends to be the first thing I hit when getting on the forum.

Is that - "View new posts" as in the posts that are new snce your last visit?

Yeap,

exactly that search.....if there is also a way to "mark all posts as read" that would great also as I use this to clear old threads from that view.

When on the index page - the "view new topics" is just to the bottom right of the top menu options.

 

Also when you are in a topic or category, "mark all topics read" should be in the same place.

 

Do you mean relocate these, or just that you couldn't find them?

This is only on the first page..I would prefer it on every page..ie, when in a thread not just menu page. Just how I am used to doing it...first thing I do is look at new threads...once I have view that thread, I would normally hit the "view new thread" without going back to the menu or search page.

 

Also when you are in a topic or category, "mark all topics read" should be in the same place.

You can now access the "new posts since your last visit" by using the menu button at the top of the page. (next to login/logout)

 

Hope this makes it more user friendly.

Yeap,

Start using last night...thanks for listen and is good to see it cost nothing to use that feature to expose "ALL" new posts.
