Lyger Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Ive just bought my car and the key has Lock and Unlock buttons on it but they dont work? Ive changed the battery and still nothing works i have to use the key to lock the car. Is the key broken? Quote
Maccaman Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 You may have to get the fob re-coded to the car. You should be able to lock the car with the key but you wont arm the alarm. There is a guide to code the key, just use the advanced search button. Quote
Lyger Posted July 19, 2009 Author Posted July 19, 2009 Ive seen this post but kinda worried about erasing the key as i only have one and if theres a chip in the key that gets read and i erase it im stuffed so any help with a detailed step by step would be appreciated and im kinda new at this stuff.
