From talking to nissan they say that once the car has had a smash and airbags deployed this control unit remembers and cant be wiped or reflashed etc, you have to buy another one otherwise the unit wont try and deploy the airbags again. I asked how much for the part and nissan say £400+vat new, ill accept offers way below that.. just thinking for any of the people doing restore projects etc on cat c/d I also have all the airbags as well obviously, though its illegal to post them so collection only fopr the bags.
