MAD7BOY Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 Hi, I have an Evo 8 in which I have fitted a mini digital dashboard intended for a bike. It has an RPM graph and dual stage shift lights. It was intended to pick up the RPM signal by induction from the HT leads but this signal is unreliable on the coil packs of my Evo. So I'm looking to be able to convert the RPM signal on the RPM wire of the ECU into a pulsed signal which my digi dash can use. Anyone got any clues on how to do this? Is there a product that does this or will I need a custom circuit or what? Does anyone have any info on what format the signal will be in from the ECU? All help apprieciated. Cheers.
