As to the quality, I came from a 55 plate new shape Lexus IS with DD5.1 surround 13 speakers as standard so the Nissan sounded quite poor in comparison. I have had two head units (skipping and then CDs jammed in the loader) and the last one sounds better than the previous two. Not sure why but I noticed the later one has far better bass response and lower frequencies heard, the mid and top is still messy but it is ok for my use. I did think about upgrading but spending a couple of grand on a setup I will only have for a couple of years doesn't seem worth it to me.
