yeah I can confirm, they are supposed to be there

 

Thanks for confirmation that they should be there, however if you look closely near the bottom there is already an air bubble and am concerned it will come off.

 

Dealer won't get off lightly!

 

I had a Lexus that had the protection on the rear wheel arches and one side had an air bubble and eventually water got underneath and it looked awful!
