matth76 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Just bought my 3.5 yr old 55 reg 350z and have two years extended mfr warranty. Both headlights have the issue of the inside of the plastic cover "scarring". Only noticed it the first night I got back. It's not condensation and other members have found that when they took the light apart it was actually the inside of the plastic cover that was damaged with very very fine scratches. Seems to be a common issue and for this to happen in less than 3.5 yrs is pretty poor quality. Has anyone had theirs replaced under warranty? Thanks for any info. Quote
IanS16 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I gave the lights on my old zed a good scrub with some t-cut and it sorted it out. I think it was just a film that had formed over the years. May be worth a try anyway.. Quote
matth76 Posted February 26, 2009 Author Posted February 26, 2009 Thanks I'll give it a go although it appears to be on the inside of the plastic. The outside of the plastic is really smooth. Quote
