Guest prescience Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 All models have ECUs. JDM is different from European and actually JDM- engine has dynoed consistently at higher power. Are you concerned about 112 mph de-limiter if so, there is an HKS de-limiter available (at a discount thorught this form) via TDi I have cleaned up the other post Edit -> Don't worry, ask any questions, you won't get called out, we were all newbies once. But there is not an ECU upgrade available - it doesn't work like that on this car; you have what you have. That's not entirely true since you can get your ECU re-flashed for in the US - but THIS HAS NEVER BEEN DONE WITH THE EURO ECU; so don;t concern yourself with that.
