Stew Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Oh and obviously I'll still plan the run if you want. Either that or I'll plan the one for say 28th and I'll chuck in a few extras..... And probably give you milage that is complete crap too! Or we could do an april meet after......
Cara Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 and I'll chuck in a few extras..... The mind boggles? Seriously, both 21st and 28th fine with me (have an engagement party to attend on the 27th though so may be slightly hungover ), or April.
srobrien Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 March 7th - 1)AB350Z 2)JT1703 3)Herbie 4)Vasse 5)Srobrien This is probably the only date I can do in march so i'll stick my name down dependant on turnout. R
ab350z Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 At the moment yeah, unless folk are pulling out.
vasser Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Defo happening even if i do it by myself. I will make up a wee route guide when i get back home and can either dish it out on the day or e-mail it to everyone. If anyone you know wants to come along i would imagine that they would be more than welcome to come in what ever car they like, dosen't need to be just 350Z.
ab350z Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Dont mind, not too early though, i live for my weekend long lies!! 11am B&Q Garthdee?
herbie Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Yeah im still up for this. B&Q 11am sounds good to me
srobrien Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Sounds like a plan although there is a high possibility of my car being in the body shop then, hopefully it will be done though. R
Stew Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 If you are planning a route about Inverurie then you can have a coffee stop at my office probably. I'll shout you all a nice fresh roast coffee from Italy or Columbia!
JT1703 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I'll be there. 2 sugars in my coffee please Stew !
vasser Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 If you are planning a route about Inverurie then you can have a coffee stop at my office probably. I'll shout you all a nice fresh roast coffee from Italy or Columbia! Yeah could easily make a small detour on the back road to Inverurie and have a stop there. I'll add it to the plan if everyone is O.K with that. Be a good chance to meet Stew before the Jockland Hoon. If we do go to Inverurie probably best meeting at the Lidl-McDonalds car park beside the inverurie road instead of B&Q. If this is O.k. i will post the route-guide in the next couple of days so that everyone can see what the crack is and make some changes to it if they want.
vasser Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 This is the route guide i've made up. If any one has any changes to make please either leave a message or a reply on the forum.
Stew Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Wait a minute..... I'm on nightshift! I'll be in my bed! Sorry, swapped shifts so I'm a bit confused....
vasser Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 No Probs Stew. Think we should stil do the run to Inverurie as its a decent enough road and there is a bar-cafe place where we can stop for a little while. Can't remember the name of it though, but i can tell everyone on the sat morning, its on the main road, really easy to find.
herbie Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 OK, its probably easier for me to meet you guys at inverurie if thats alright?
ab350z Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 Still in for this. Cant view the route - The selected Attachment does not exist anymore 404 File Not Found: The File files/abz_3_482.doc does not exist.
ab350z Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 Got the route through Vasser, cheers. My only concern is that we keep an eye on the weather, its been snowing up there the last few days and although I have done the Glenshee run in a white out, I wouldn't wish it on anyone!!
JT1703 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Depending on weather I'll still be up for this. Would be easier for me to meet at Inverurie as well rather than heading south to Aberdeen to go back North again
ab350z Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 No worries, just looked at Vasser's route and there's an Inverurie stop on there. Braemar 4 day forecast - http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/2120
srobrien Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 What time do you recon we will be back in Aberdeen. R
ab350z Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 What time do you recon we will be back in Aberdeen. R Aye i'm thinking the same, i've got a wedding kicking off at 6pm, might be an idea to skip the BLairgowrie leg and take the easy route back to Abz from Glenshee.

Yeah thats no prob. you can still travel down to blairgowire and along the dualer back to Aberdeen., if in a real rush. Just flew by the gramps today in the chopper and they look ok weather wise.
