Hey everybody

Im new here, and to the world of the 350Z.

i'm seriously considering buying one hopefully very soon, but would like to know approximate service costs.

Could anyone give me a rough idea of service costs ?? and which are the major services and how much they are likely to be.

I live in the oxford area if that makes any difference

Cheers Guys... please help me... i need a 350Z !!!

Wow, that was quick !!

Cheers for that,

Is the P3 a major service ? and would that include cambelt change ??

Sorry if these a dumb-ass questions !!

P1 Servicing costs about £180.00

P2 Servicing costs about £220.00

P3 Servicing costs about £280.00

The above are just ‘in the region of’ prices, as prices vary from dealer to dealer…

Cheers CS,

Im very surprised how reasonable those costs are, i expected much higher !

I live 5 miles from a nissan dealer which is handy, but probably more expensive as its a main dealer.

Are there any potentialy very expensive problems which these cars are prone to i should know about ???

The 350z is Chain driven...

P3 is labelled as the big service...

Nope!

All issues are covered in the forum many times and will be in the buying guide. A few things to look for. Nothing major.

The costs are reasonable as it's Japanese..... and a Nissan. :teeth:

At the moment, you’ll find that most Nissan main dealers would be prepared to offer a better deal on servicing against their usual prices, always worth calling other dealers and seeing if your local dealer would match or beat the quotes that you’ve found…

Have a look in the ‘Warranty issues’ section; this has some threads on common issues…

Depending where you live you can reduce these prices by using an independant or a dealer who offers us discounts too. :D

Im from essex and for my P3 drove to slough, got a great price compared to down here, so worth looking around

you could take £60 of the prices CS quoted in Manchester. We generally supply our own oil which makes it cheaper to to nearer £80 cheaper.
