New Insurance Groups

These are being rolled out across the insurance companies, all to be in place by December 09.

Shows the Zed as being 18/20 atm and 45/50 when they change. Meaning nothing should change for us as they are the same ratio

yes the idea is that with more group the basic premiums before adjustment should be more accurate, as with more groups they are more specific, however as everyone knows, quotes vary massivly from insurers to insurer and for person to person. If there is any resulting change in premium, it should be a reduction, but i doubt you would notice it.

I wouldn't read too much into that... insurance grouping is only there as a guide.. Most specialists look at the driver more so than the vehicle
