DIY question: anyone used patching tarmac from Wickes?

Need to patch up the drive at the front of the house and stick a rain gutter in, so just wondered if anyone has used that patching tarmac from Wickes or B&Q etc and if so is easy to do? Do you get a good result? :surrender:
