martinmac Posted September 28, 2008 Share Posted September 28, 2008 This has been going on for ten days now and is driving me nuts. I log onto the forum and have say 26 unread posts to read. I click "view unread posts" and they come up. I can then read each post and click view unread posts again until they are all gone. No problem so far. If I click Mark all forums read I get All forums have been marked read Click Here to return to the Index When I click to return to the forum index I still have the same amount of unread posts showing in the top right. Just to make it more complicated I can then go online on my phone and use the normal procedure to mark unread posts as read. It works I am on a laptop with a mobile link with more security than most so its not down to any virus or similar problem. Any ideas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The forum uses the timestamp on your cookie and the last registerd logon time from the database to come up with the list of unread topics. (comparing it to post times on the threads).
