dash dimmer lights wont dim or turn off

have done a search but cant find any info, my dash lights are on all the time, and will not dim or turn off. have kept on pressing switch (according to handbook) to try to turn off but they are still on. is it a faulty switch or any other problem ?

The Dash lights are on perminantly and can only be dimmed to suit when the headlights are on.

Yep, when the lights are on you can use the buttons on the speedo housing (right hand side) to increase and decrease light.

If you try and still you cant adgust them when your lights are on, it could be the plug that connects to the circuit board has come loose and youll need to open the dial housing up to check.

I'm sure you're more astute than me but I spent quite a while trying to figure out how those damned buttons on the LHS of the dash adjusted the lights. Finally realised there were some on the RHS that did the job just fine
