Yep, much better than the tape, don't want expensive carbon bits falling off!

have you noticed any loss of visibility at night with eye lids on ?

Nope none at all, it completely alters the look of the lights at night though!

Only thing you could try to sharpen up the look is get rid of the hazing on the headlights. Try the Turbo Wax Headlight Restoration kit, it is awesome and will get them back to optically clear, without aggressive methods.
