I was offered a complete Nismo clutch package (Disk, case and flywheel) for a price I could not refuse! Sold car now so have no requirements!

You are making assumptions without knowing the full story. The ACT flywheel was installed as part of a clutch disk up-grade - from OEM disk to Nismo disk, and as it happens, the Nismo disk did not react well with the OEM casing (which was not replaced). Which is why a complete Nismo clutch set (including casing) was installed, and as part of the package/deal the Nismo flywheel was included.

 

Not much difference between flywheels - once you get down to this sort of weight from OEM you are not going to feel much more of a difference. The 'chattering' is no more or less between the two.

 

So, as you can see - no hidden agenda.
