BongoDiv Posted Wednesday at 18:11 Posted Wednesday at 18:11 Aye up. 2006 convertible. Clutch pedal has lost pressure and can see it's hydraulic so wondering if anyone here knows which cylinder usually fails on these? Is it the master or the slave? Hoping it's gonna be on outside of gearbox too and not one of these faffy drop the gearbox jobs. Thanks in advance. Quote
G1en Posted Wednesday at 19:28 Posted Wednesday at 19:28 It will be the slave cylinder. highly unlikely to be the master. On your model I think you are in luck and it is on the outside of the gearbox, fairly straightforward job to replace, all traders on here sell the replacement kits. Its the HR model 07+ that I have which is a pig where the slave is inside the housing. Quote
BongoDiv Posted Wednesday at 20:52 Author Posted Wednesday at 20:52 Ahh OK brilliant that's a relief. Sounds like a pretty easy fix. They on ebay for £25 so I'll give it a go. Didn't much fancy dropping the gearbox and balancing it on my knees at my age lol. Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This is the one you need, so you can compare with the one on ebay. https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/powertrain/ancillaries/1673-350z-de-05-07-stoptech-premium-clutch-slave-cylinder.html Quote
