STmichael Posted March 31 Share Posted March 31 Hello, finally got round to fitting the new HU yesterday and all went well with the install. 1 issue I am left with though is after purchasing the car the rear driver speaker did not work. I was hoping it was the stock HU which would not be a problem knowing at some point that it would be changed but yesterday confirmed that it is the speaker (or wiring to it). I tested the wiring and it is open circuit so suspect the coil on the speaker. If I am going to pull half the car to bits to get to the speaker I might as well purchase replacement speakers regardless if it is the speaker or not. The car is a non bose so looking at 4ohm, at least 50w rms direct replacement coaxial speakers that I can just swap straight over. Any recommendations.
