Brake Pads.. What Are You Running??

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Tackling the brakes next as they haven't been changed in 10 years.. (I'm not joking)

I'm ordering some J hook discs, Goodridge braided lines and some parking brake shoes from Torqen or whatever theyre called. I would like some Yellow Stuff pads but I have to be honest, I'm not savvy with pads or parking brake shoes..

What are you guys running?

Are Hel braided lines okay? Or should I just go all out on the Goodridge ones? As I would like to keep the costs down.

Dont think it really matters with the handbrake ones.

For the main pads i use genuine Brembo ones, they fit perfectly and seem to perform well.

Using yellowstuff at the moment, in the past I've used Ferodo and some carbon ceramic ones too (hawk i think) Yellowstuff pads have been the best by far, better braking performance even when cold, no noise, and much less dust compared to the other two (especially the Ferodo).
