Non Bose headunit with Bose system?

Hi all,

 

In my haste to replace my broken Bose headunit I purchased a second hand headunit. It’s just turned up and I’ve realised my error in that I didn’t look hard enough and it’s the non Bose headunit. Will it work with the rest of the Bose system or do I need to source a Bose one?
 

(I already have a Pioneer DAB/Bluetooth unit that piggybacks off the OEM stereo hence just wanting a cheap OEM unit to replace my one which has a broken screen.)
