Hi guys, I had to move my car in a hurry last night as an ambulance came down our road and I was a bit in the way.

Anyways, I usually just use the clutch and feather it whilst reversing but being in a hurry I used some go pedal too.

I noticed it would rev hang even with my foot off the pedal. Odd.

Today I went out and tried to mimic it for you. Might be unclear in the video, but I tap the pedal, and then remove my foot. The revs hang then drop.

It only seems to do it on cold starts, so could just be to compensate for it being cold?

I'm assuming the fix would be to let it run for a bit longer before driving?

I've never noticed it cause I always reverse out the drive with only the clutch.

If anyone knows why, or if its normal please let me know.

Excuse the feet/legs... its warm.

This happens with mine when it's not long been fired up - I think it's just a cold start stability thing. It goes away when warmed up.

I thought this much. Just paranoid I guess
