Installing a xtron head unit

Hi, I'll ve picking up a z this week and wondering whats I need to connect my xtrons double din fit and work with everything. I have a xtrons td618 from my lexus is200. I know I'll need a fitting kit and stuff but cab anyway advise ne exactly what one and what else I'll need?

This is the main harness, you'll need to swap the red and yellow wire so the unit gets power correctly, the remaining blue wire on the harness is your antenna power so I cut that and linked it to the xtrons directly

This plugs into the steering box on the above harness and links to key1 and key2 on your xtrons

 

Incartech do a kit with the facia as well but I found it far far too tight so im ordering from elsewhere

 

After that I also had to modify my harness to turn the phono connections into an iso one, this is called the buster mod on the forums, just be aware your taking speaker outputs and connecting them to your amp,the volume levels will be louder!

 

I've seen on ebay some rca to iso blocks if your not confident with your soldering

 

Good luck its easy to do but lack of a specific guide did make it confusing so hopefully you'll find the above answers everything!

Hi and thanks for replying. yes its a 2008 HR with the bose system. I'm alright with soldering. I struggled to find a fascia for my lexus aswell the xtrons seem to be to big for most

Ive attached a picture of the outputs on my unit. The manual says you can use steering wheel controls with it so I aasume its the same kind of setup as your one

Can't see your file but I'll assume they have the same outputs I wired up a reversing camera at the weekend which is working perfectly
