I'm considering ploughing some dosh into getting my pilot license and getting my eye back in with the aerobatics (only 12years out of practise! :-/) as opposed to ploughing money in to cars and trackdays.

 

Anybody got a PPL? Any wisdom or stories to share? Is £9k a realistic cost to get my hours back up and pass the tests?
