To teach, or not to teach...

My other half is a science teacher, she teaches from 11 years old all the way up to 18 so covers biology, chemistry and physics at both gcse and A level.

Recently she set up key stage 3 at her school and has become a year 7 tutor which also involves teaching geography, history, RE and assists with english and maths.

Anyone who says teachers have it easy with 13 weeks off a year and only work part time just dont know. I work 8-4:30, come home and thats it, teaching takes up so much time with little financial reward so you really do have to do it for the kids. Other half is currently getting involved in SEN to help the most at risk kids.
