WoREoD Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 When I first had my Z I made the mistake of putting a couple of plastic trays in the boot unsecured and they made a couple of marks on the plastic trim - I soon learnt my lesson and now cover everything with a blanket. Today, whilst cleaning the boot it reminded me I'd like to restore the trim. So, how best to do this? Will they polish out? Is there a product I should use? Thanks in advance! JohnK p.s. I have no desire to polish the trim to a shine like secondhand car dealers used to do! Quote
Removed Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I have a few scrtaches on it too, it's the plastic which is rubbish, very easy to scratch Hence why I'll be coverng it in alcantara soon enough In the meantime what I did was touching it up with a black marker pen and "blended it in" with my finger... will do for now. Not sure if those plastic repair kits work well or not Quote
