JohnUKVetteNut Posted April 13, 2016 Author Share Posted April 13, 2016 Hi Folks Just to say car back on road complete. But a door for roadster is different from a saloon door. On the roadster there is a stub which sticks out from door and locates in door pillar as ( I think ) a support or strengthening method. This is not found on normal doors I have seen ( maybe different years have these?). Anyway the saloon door does not have the holes/fixed nuts to accept the stud being mounted. I am in the process of drilling out the door and putting in captive nut and a "rivnut" for the blind hole one. Will post if and when done...
