350Z Sat Nav removal?

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and only had my Z for a few weeks, (Awesome car!)

The previous owner has removed the Sat Nav from the centre console and fitted and after market CD player.

What i am wondering is, can i remove the navigation system from behind my drivers seat or is it still required for something?

Its probably been covered somewhere but i wasn't sure if it would break anything!

Also with the Nav screen being removed from the centre console, what have people done with theirs? Any other uses or toys to fit?

Thanks for the help,

There's a subwoofer behind the driver's seat?

The nav stuff is originally in the locker behind the passenger seat. I ripped all of mine out as it was rubbish. Some people do a tablet install to replace the nav - something I'm looking into at the moment.

Hi there, thanks for the reply. Behind the drivers seat there is a sub but above this slightly more central there are 2 little storage compartments and the unit is fitted in there. Ill have a go at removing it as it just sounds like its trying to load something all the time. This wouldn't impact the Bluetooth connectivity would it?

Thanks for the help,

Appreciated!!
