xStric9x Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 They are definatly not cheap I was lucky enough to have mine replaced under warranty Quote
H5 Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 And is the reason alone I shelled out for the extended warranty!! Quote
NWZ Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Nah, that's absolute bull. Just had mine replaced last week, NMGB agreed to pay 50% as the car is only just out of warranty - cost me £400 still hurt a bit but defo worth it and I have 12 months warranty on the driveshafts now. NMGB don't agree to pay VAT so the total bill all in was about £750. For BOTH driveshafts. I have the paperwork to show it. Oh, and I had extended RAC warranty but I cocked up as they need the car to be serviced every 6k and I didn't read that bit.... damn. Quote
ZeddZ Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 My sunburst one went to the stealers with clicking drive shafts 2 weeks before I traded it in.When they got it back the drive shafts were clicking again.Someone must have been driving it like a tw*t. Quote
