Sorry if this has been covered before.

 

I picked up my 2005 roadster yesterday and it has the Birdview satnav installed, the one with the remote, not the fixed buttons

 

anyway...the remote seems to be misbehaving, as if the "enter" button is permanently pushed. so i can't scan to access different parts of the nav system...it just seems to skip directly to the previous owners home address....i'm sure he would be happy to see the car again, but its a bit of a pain!!

 

does anyone know if there is a simple fix to resolve the "sticky button" syndrome or am i destined to trawl eBay for a replacement (unless one of you fine chaps has a spare or a replacement that you want to offload)

I am up in cumbria but will post it down to you. :) One rather obvious point with the birdview which I learnt the hard way. Always carry spare batteries. I was in Leicester visiting CS when my batteries ran out. It wasnt fun. :lol:

Defintely not the batterrries!!!!

 

I pulled the remote apart, and its the little joystick that forms the L/R/U/D and enter button, thats shagged...

 

look for my PM after the 12th!!
