david85williams Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Hello fellow Z fans! I'm having trouble removing and refitting new rear disc over the parking brake shoes. I managed to do one side last night. I was particularly difficult to fit the new disc over the shoes. I have wound the adjust right in to help give me some more clearance but still it so difficult. I hope to have the otherside complete this evening. Can anyone tell me if there is a trick to it? I do apologies if this has already been covered. I have a search but couldnt really find anything. Floydbax Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I don't intend to insult your intelligence but is your handbrake OFF? If it is then maybe you can 'un' adjust the tension until the new discs are on then readjust as normal. 1 Quote

One of mine was a little tricky initially then when it started to go it was like 'what was all the fuss about?' Sounds like you might be lucky in a way and have one of those rare Zeds whose handbrake actually works!! Quote
