Bottom ends been starved of oil, I was thinking the same theres a company in Essex that are quoting 2000 to rebuild it and take it in and out.

 

I reckon we should both just do a 2JZ swap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If its the guys in rainham, i've spoke to them about it and they seem really shitty. they say they install a freshly built engine and recon them themselves, but when i asked if they could just rebuild mine they went all funny, saying oh it will still be 2k to do etc.. then got even funnier when i asked about what they replace etc.. lol

I've got a guy doing mine in the next couple of weeks, he's an evo specialist but does all engines, he's charging 1k labour + parts thats literally a bolt for bolt strip down and build though, not just a replace the broken parts lol
