geg1992 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 http://www.350z-uk.c...ymptoms +failed Have a read of that - it was my experience with my DMF and clutch when they were playing up. Yep, I think that's what it is, so so pee'd off. Just spent so much on it thinking it was all great and everything, now got a huge bill coming my way! How much was your replacement? Not sure what the clunking from the back is! Quote
alexwitham Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I'm in Norwich - Happy for you to run the car over, we can go for a drive (you can come out in mine too) and you can decide for yourself if it's goosed or not. Quote
GriffGTV Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 geg th rear clonk is documented, likely to be splines on half-shafts I believe - prob need dropping and re-greasing you wouldnt expect these probs on such low mileage? - It has prob been on a track? Quote

Not sure what the clunking from the back is! My total bill was £1200 but I also had a service and plugs done along with the other odd little bit of work. It was a lot less than I was expecting especially when you compare that to Nissans prices. I'd imagine that would have been 3k plus! Quote
GriffGTV Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 are there any popular DMF alternatives, eg lightened SMF that is more sporty and less expensive Quote
