  1. Unfornately its never gonna have that roar of a Ferrari without the v12/v10 but it could be close to it! Im so tempted with both! Its killing me
  2. I always used to go with the Pipercross Viper induction kit in the past but seems like the Typhoon is the way to go!
  3. Hmm cheers adam. So HKS hi Power system for about £850 or Tommy K for £1900..... Someone please help me decide! haha. Kinda inclined with the HKS exhaust because of the price difference.
  4. Good idea - cheers for the advice.. Maybe ordering this week
  5. that is insanely overpriced Do you mean the delivery? The exhaust itself seems to be the same price on your site. +1
  6. that is insanely overpriced Its $1400 on your website too.... Do you mean the delivery costs?
  7. You would say that tho wouldnt you Rob! Haha Im seriously considering it - 21days delivery....The mouse pointer is getting ever so closer to the buy button. Is it secure to order parts from Japan? its from japanparts.com

I am particulary fussy over alloys too!
  9. 1000/1 will definitly run 2 x 10W7 - Take a look at the thread I started. Im running 2 10W7s with a JL audio 1000/1 AMP. If ya gonna get for 2 of the beasts then definitley invest in some decent component speakers. Top of the range Focal! The subs would overpower just about anything else and you will end up turnng the amp down to lower the volume in the subs. Ie pointless. I run my subs at almost full power but the focqals kick enough for it not to be unbalanced. If not you will play something slow/romantic ... David Gray for example to woo some lady and all you will hear is bass and no vocals!

Hey lads. Wondering what the general consenus is on these?
  12. That was £2000 for the Tommy Kaira exhaust. I assume Tommy K do flyhweel clutch parts etc? That will all be done at the time of the Turbo Conversion + High flow downpipe and water injection Link ECU; bigger injectors uprated reconditioned garrett t3/t4 turbo; uprated external wastegate equal length manifold; external wastegate; uprated sytec fuel pump, exedy twin plate clutch Thicker head gasket, forged pistons; uprated intercooleruprated cams, valve springs, rod bolts, titanium retainers, bearings, uprated valves, head skim + extensive air flow work: Uprated rods, distributor-less ignition system, dry sump conversion Block strengthening work (sleeving), allowing (relatively) high compression and high revs, new inlet manifold to cope with increased flow:
  13. I just got an email from an american company. HKS Hi power system - $1400 + $550 Express Delivery. Just short of a £1000. But I have been doing some thinking about completely kitting my car out in Tommy Kaira parts, Bodykit etc
  14. £1700 for the kit and then £250 for delivery.... £2000 really + fitting... Should I?!
  15. Definitly would get a true dual exhuast without question. Anyone find any details of the Tommy K exhuast? Suppliers BigPhil any chance? Is it possible to change the muffler tips or are you limited to whats on offer? Thanks for all your support lads!
  16. Ok this is gonna be a noob question - whats IRC. I come across the amuse system and its looks top notch - also at £1500 del. I did the like Mines also. Decision Decision! lol Why are you changing your current system?
  17. I certainly understand the youtube video aspect. My audio setup sounded pants on youtube! haha But without listening to any exhaust 'live' its difficult to tell anyway. I will have to go on you lot expert opinions and do my research! Or happen to have a nice sounding 350z pull up beside me and tell all about his exhaust! unlikely! Haha Reason why I said Powerflow is that they give life time guranntee... not so sure if I supply tho. I'll check it out!
  18. Cheers for your quick comments lads. Yeah I did like the 5Zigen exhaust. How much are we looking at? Just youtube'd the HKS Hi-power and it sounds and looks mint. That could be a winner. Just had a wuick browse $1500 from the US dunno bout shipping but any idea for UK costs? Id probably get someone like powerflow to fit the exhaust. That ok? No particular budget about £2000 S&F. But would gladly extend for the right system. I wouldn't necessarily do the exhaust manifold till the Garrett twin turbo is fitted. But open to any ideas!
  19. Hey guys. First time poster on the Zoorst board... been raiding the ICE thread for sometime now! Looking to get a new Zoorst for my 54 plate Z. Listened through the "everything350z" zoorst sound clips and the tommy Kaira are to my liking! But is it what I am looking for?! See below! So... Aim: 1. I want a racing sounding zoort (not a particulary loud one like my shitty neighbour in his pug 307 1.4l 0-60 in 3 minutes noisy ****er) but it has to be racy and I love the 'popping' noise it creates. 2. I will be upgrading the Zed to a TT version in approx 6 months time so it has to be able to of high performance to cope with the extra demand. 3. Cost... as always... I have a budget but I would strain past it if it was top notch. I know certain Zoorstz can be expensive and it depends on whether fullsystem etc.... 4. Im not sure whether it will make too much but I am not keen on single exhaust tips. It has to either twin or preferably quad (side by side rather than that weird on top of eachother some people do!) I will be applying a bodykit to the car soon, possibly the Nismo kit, so cutting into the original to house the tip I cant see being an issue at present. If some of you more experience zed masters could give some advice I would be most appreciative. Cheers lads. PS I dont like the Nismo exhaust!
  20. Proof someone knows what to put through a system to test it. MJ recordings are always top quality, and Pendulum's last two albums have such a range they give the components a challenge in keeping the track together. Yes indeed correct... However when i cranked Pendulum to near 100% performance I was nearly shunted through the windsceen.... Feck me those W7s can kick! For a 10" sub the Bass level is simply incredible..... I'd love to hear a W7 13"....hmmmmmm I could fit one in the boot somewhere.... The 13 doesn't kick as well IMO. The bigger area makes it that bit less responsive and the 10 drops more than well enough! Wait until they're run in, and then see what they can do. If the enclosures hold up to it that is!! All of the enclosure have had roughly 7 layers of dynomat slapped about the place to help. But to hold the subs in place a steel reinforcement cage was built to house them. Similar to a headunit cage. They should hold up quite nicely. Fingers crossed! I spoke to my fitter on the phone and I have booked it in to the workshop in 6 weeks time for a photoset for his website. I am getting him to email all the work-in-progress photos across and I'll post em up on here. Also getting more work done. Headunit going in to act as an EQ and also CD player and also other toys that you will have to wait to hear about another time!

  22. I agree with both of these points and the other benefit of a proper car psu is the ability to start up and shut down the system with the ignition switch. I drop my car PC to hibernate automatically when the ignition turns off. Does your invertor get hot? If so there's proof of the power inefficiency! It's also a topic for debate whether or not you get benefit from using a capacitor - especially if you have a fairly chunky alternator/battery which I'd guess the zed does to crank the big V6. I will havw to check if the power invertor gets hot as Im not sure. Power when I start the car the PC turns on automatically. I set the BIOS so that when there is power the PC turns on automatically. When I stop the car I simply press the button behind the seat and the PC goes into hibernation. Not quite as efficient as a car PSU but it works well. Once its all up and running it will be firing on all cylinders and I'll love it! Haha Alas still no more driving for 5 weeks!
  23. Thats for taking the time to leave your comments! The amp will definitly be covered up its not that I would be too bothered about the equipment if it was nicked (all insured) but the damage they cause to the car and also I would be emotionally devastated! I am currently using a creative x-fi extreme soundcard which is commonly used for nightclubs and venues etc. and is more than capable of delivering high quality sound. However I will be installing a top Alpine headunit shortly anyway. Im not too sure about the front end but I have a full copy of Centrafuse D/L'd so Im gonna try that first and see. I got a list of Front End software from another forum and there are about 60 different packages that can be used. So enough to choose from. I wont be extending the Audio project much more from after the HU installation as Im saving for a Garrett Twin Turbo conversion installed by some wizards in Middlesborough!
  24. LOL @ music taste The Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal is great to use to test the sound system setup. A real mixture of bass, treble and mid range. Pendulum - I used this to show off the bass capabilities of the system.
  25. Nah the video cant give the qulaity of the sound system at all. Still tinkering with it daily and getting more and more out of it. The bass produced from the 10" subs is un believable. Ill bring up to the next meet all done and ready!
