Hello, i dont know what other people think but i'm not too sure about the new layout of the forum, i just think there is too much going on. Looks like someones just got a free template and applyed it. Can it be made part of the user profile to change the template that are used ?
Thanks

you can program the new key to open your car doors, but will need to go to Nissan so its second transponder to talk to the imboilser so actually start the car, otherwise it'll just turn over and not fire up. nissan will probally charge 60 quid for that, i've just had it done on my xtrail with a key brought off ebay.

This isnt to change the subject, but i also had a 400 quid claim coming from Phil from my zigen exhaust that came damaged, with Phil argueing with the postage company for a while, they were pretty much about to pay out, this was a week before the stroke i believe, and i didnt want to chase Andrew about it, but it puts me in a simular situation.

yeah, it'll sell there, is there a main 370z forum yet ? if someones got enough money to buy and mod one of those then it'd be a cool addition on their car.

I've just seen the thread, http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... c&start=15
I had these last year at £110, the price of Genuine Nismo goods, twinned with the current exchange rate has forced the price up...
fair enough chap

strange one here, but bigphil did a group buy on these not so log ago, for 63 quid a set, have they really gone up that much with the current market ? or was he getting them off the back of a truck ?
-
i'll give ya 250 quid + 80 quid transfer fee

no, like i said, he wont touch the car as its not his job and he doesnt want to get blamed for anything to go wrong. as from what other people had said in one of my previous posts, making sure the plenum is torqued correctly isnt massivly essential. but just make sure its hand tight with a 10m socket thing.
also, he is about 2 miles outside the city centre, on my first post is an address. google maps is your friend

Hello, really strange one here, but i kinda brought the wrong colour 350z, mines a 54plate import. with just less than 50k on the clock, always been looked after with dodo juice etc. Its in gunmetal with orange leather, gt spec, if anyone with a white or orange 350z that prefers gunmetal wants to have a chat about swaping just PM me.
Thanks

when you guys ring him, confirm your price, as mine was a saturday drop in, he has the tools to take the plenum off here. he doesnt get involved in taking the bits off and on so take a mate to help.
-
lol, if anyone does find where to buy them from... i would buy one and go down the club in it. I dont think i'd ever take it off
;D
-
yeah, you have to give him a call in the week and arrange it for a weekend.
-
i'll need one of these soon as well,
-
yeah, thanks for the nice replys guys.
erm, this chap is a 1 man polishing machine. hes got a factory with about 5 big machines in all for different purposes, he normally does hand rails, and bits for minis, whole engines etc. but he offers a pop in for a coffee on a saturday for car people, you sit around or watch a movie in ya car, while he just leans the plenum on a belt driven polisher, with various grades of grit. Its not perfect, he didnt do in the holes as far as he said he could, but i think spending 4 hours on something for 40 quid is very good. he wasnt happy that the throttle body looked a bit rough, so he just worked on that for 10 minutes.
The holes in the plenum are something i can do though with a dremell and their polishing end. seems to be tidying those up with nicely.
hopefully some people around notts will go to him as hes a sound chap.
oh, and the 'x' at the end of my first post was my gf, i was playing on the xbox and reading out what for her to write. it was her addition.

you say it tried to kill ya, but if there was something sliperly on the road it may have saved you ?
-
cheers, they also chrome most things, to do the whole strut brace was 50 quid to chrome it with a 1 week turnaround, they also shot blast wheels for 15 quid each, and chrome them for 50, really good job. he said to shot blast that plenum it'd be like 10-15 quid. but i wanted it shiny !

Hey guys. just got back from a metal polishing place in notts called 'impact metal finishings', the chap there spent 3-4 hours on my plenum, for 40 quid the end result was this... he said that'd be the price if anyone gave him a call.

i would recommend paintshield, they would have your car in and put the covers all over the areas of the car where it needs it.
