My computer says 27.3 and DTE 407 miles and loving it i am never stuck in traffic

OK OK i go to work at 4 in the afternoon 13 miles to work and i finish at midnight, nothing on the road what so ever so once i am in 6th gear it is happy days

I have only had my car for 1 month and tonight i have just sold my e60 530d. My z is amazing and i have no intention of selling it just yet to much fun

people say they lowered it 15mm, some 20mm, some 30mm, but in reality it just looks awesome

Regarding the clear indicator/fog light, if you change to clear does it mean you cannot use your fog light anymore ? or can you get a red bulb. This question may seem daft but i just had to ask.

awesome, will wait and see if you can find the info on the removal of the plastic trim.

To be honest i think once you start taking it apart it is surpising what comes off it is just the starting point. I broke a few clips when removing some trim last week for another 2 min job of mine but when i went to the stealers they charged me £1.29 ish for each clip so i will have to be a little more carefull when pulling.

It basically involves buying a roll of Dynamat Xtreme, and then removing the BOSE sub from behind the seat. You will then see an enclosure that has holes all over the place. Use the Dynamat to seal those holes and cover the enclosure - voila, a sealed box that is also sound deadened.

Is is easy to remove the sub and do this then ? any hints please or pics

Who's taken there boot weight off then. How do you take off the trim at the back/tailgate. Is it held on via poppers so you just pull hard ?

After a little messing around i finally uploaded these pictures.

This had a system fitted and a sub on the back and it sounded very good.

The shine on this black is fantastic.

Good to see you guys there. Unfortunatly had to leave a bit early so didnt get a chance to get my ass around. That and watching a Plenum spacer being fitted!! Would have been nice to have all been in the same place...

I was there when he drove that supercharged z in and he was revving it just to get through the crowds but it did sound nice

I went, a little on the cold side but great fun.

Bumped into a 350z stand aswell as finding the few on here but no one was around there cars so i took a few pics of them and wondered around.

i just seem to never be able to get rid of the swirls and such no matter how hard i try. grr

i have autoglym super resin polish, and a bottle of meguires next generation spray wax

 

Same for me, what are the products used to get the shine you got in the photos on the black car ??

My azure is a great colour but you can see the swirls when you look hard.

 

Either get it professionaly detailed or by a rotary polisher,but beware if you buy your own you could end up paying more than getting it done by a pro.If you make a mistake and polish too long in one spot its a respray for that panel.

 

Nissan paint is very thin,i would recommend get it done by a pro and ask his advice one how to wah and dry in future.

 

Well said! - having seen endless comments about the Nissan paint quality (LACK OF) is the reason I chose a professional to do the work and hopefully I can keep it looking good with careful washing and a regular wax top-up
