  1. About to to buy 4 news tyres for the Zed. Have read around on here and decided to go for 4 x Falken452s from Camskill.

I'm going to get two of these for the rear:

    and these for the front:

Would anyone mind just giving me the thumbs up on the sizes? Anything else I've overlooked? (apart from the usual spacers! :p )

    Thanks!

  2. I'm Leeds based, been here for 8 years or so, so can probably help you out.

I live in Headingley, but have mates in all the places you mentioned and know them pretty well.

As mentioned - there are some great deals in the center at the moment due to over supply of flats.

Where you choose to live probably depends a lot on personal situation. I.e. are you single, or are you moving with a family? Are you keen to go out a lot, or do you like your home comforts? Where about in Leeds will you be working? Some of the commutes can be a nightmare because of the traffic.

if you give me some more info about what you ideally want from your 'stay' I'll try and advise accordingly. Leeds is a great place though, and you're certain to have a brilliant time up here :)

  3. Cheers for the replies all.

As for how I did it, basically lost footing on the astro running for the ball and completely bundled forwards straight on shoulder, then to top it off smashed into a wooden board at the side of the pitch at almost full tilt, which is what basically pushed it out. Nearly passed out and was in cold sweats and everything, all pretty weird. had to be taken to A+E where they stuck me on a drip and gave me some drugs which knocked me out. Woke up with it popped back in - don't remember a thing - except how much it hurt and siezed up.

Sounds like i'll be needing to take it carefully then and not try any Rambo heroics. Seeing the Physio tom so will see what they say!

  4. Badly dislocated my shoulder on Tuesday playing footy, so in a sling and not allowed to drive - doctors orders. All a bit frustrating really as now have a 40 min walk and 30 min train ride to work- Ugh!. Anyone done similar and have any rough indications on how long before I can get behind the wheel? Doc says sling should be on for about 6 weeks, but other people reckon a couple of weeks before driving is ok. I suppose it's a case of how much I want to risk longer term damage - so probably a stupid question :)
