Only issue for me with lexan side windows is security. My zed does still see about 1k miles a year on the road and sliders in side windows could be a security issue? Rear quarters and tailgate glass no issues there.

 

I have managed to get the side glass to seal quite well even with the doors gutted but I'm not so sure about lexan? Its not a major issue but i doubt they will be water tight.

difficult to steal a car with no steering wheel though your right it is still a risk.

Lexan is fairly easy to maintain but it does get scratched, if you need help with the windows let me know, the curved aspect of the glass is a pain. Also wet carbon on the doors and the rear hatch is well worth it. not so much the bonnet and the wings tho as you say. Great to see you going down this road m8

i have no sound deadening in mine - after thrashing it for an hour we used a laser temp on it and it was hitting 60+ deg c , just remember to do some less spirited driving at the end to get some air flow through and keep the oil moving.

Hey all, just got back, great drive out, sorry for peeling off suddenly but I needed a slash - quick pitstop turned around and couldn't find you, got monumentally lost and managed to get back, great choice of roads to whoever did that and definitely up for another

Sorry, I dont understand this, how is he being prosecuted when you can't tell what Road he's on, the speed or the distance from anything? All you can see is his mug?

 

I couldn't understand if it was a forward facing camera but its not? You can't tell anything from that video?

this worried me quite a lot, not that I would ever break the limit, took my vid of driving around in my atom down a few days ago, the guy is on the atom forum and is obviously not happy, I don't know all the details but it certainly seems that he must have been unlucky with the statement, driving an atom with one hand is very hard, the use of the phone was silly, with no power steering it is dangerous..

awesome project VR, the rays are lighter but you gain more from the width of the rota's having tried both having said that some huge width rays would be better

also add the triple adjustable AST to your list

I really like the triple adjustable AST race suspension - incredible adjustability and very reliable, have tried different springs with it and could highly recommend for track application

get a heated front windscreen thats what i did with no heater/aircon though there are times where aircon would be nice!

also lexan works very well though the curve in the side windows is hard to replicate.

380whp would be hard to acheive from an NA build on a budget, i think you would really have to spend quite a bit of money and do a lot of work on the intake and headers... ive looked into this countless times and although something is occurring now id be happy with 380 at the fly
