  1. In Moffat turn off the main road down the A708 towards Selkirk, the road is like the mad mouse till the bird sancruary (as said, slow right down for the bridge) then its up the mountain road, once up the top it opens out and is more predictable heading down past St Marys Loch, theres a café at the bottom of the hill on the main road by the loch at Tibbie Shiells Inn, a good place for a break...

After that its a flip of the coin whither to go on to Selkirk or turn left and go up the B709, brings you back up to the Peebles road, both are good...

Sorry, pix are nice, it looked good day...

  2. Pictures look fantastic...

What a pleasure when you get off the twenty past 12 train at 2am and have a clear road to open the taps...

For best roads that whole region from Spa down Bastogne way and over through Luxembourg and Mosel Valley Germany is the best of a Northern Europe circa 4 day plus jaunt...

Always say you guys down south have it good being so close to the tunnel..

  3. I always thought it was that accurate because of the car had sat nav and it took the reading from that, although reading what ahv just typed it sounds a little far fetched... The satnav in the Z though calculates speed by positioning using satelites and using an input from the road wheel sensor, the book reads how using both makes positioning and speed more accurate... I was using my Gamin Zumo to check how close the speedo was, the digital one in the pod is bang on...

  4. Just thought I would share, I'm a very proud dad...

It was the second round of the East of Scotland Kart Club Cadet Open Championship this weekend, yesterday we were posting 51's dead consistantly, our pace placed us fourth...

Today we placed 4th in races one and two and the wee man outdrove the kart in the third race to take 3rd...

The wee man ended the meet taking 3rd place trophy and now sits second in the championship...

Think I need to sell a kidney to buy an Iame...

If you can take the time please look up the Jixa Racing Facebook page and throw us a like every now and again...

    Cheers guys...

  6. Ok, so just getting round to fitting the sensor (big thanks to Ewan @ Clark Motrsport)...

Excelent access, easy to get out, fluggered if I can get the little green plug off the back... Have pushed the little slide all the way forward and it still wont come off... What am I doing wrong?

    Cheers...

  7. Nope, I have too many projects going on at once, the Z is just a sideshow the now... Karting is taking up all my time, I need a clear day to get my head into it and that wont be for four weeks away...

  8. Ok, so I was looking in the totally wrong place then, I was trying beside the foot rest as was posted somewhere, click, obviously a US posting... Cool, be trying there later today, cheers guys...

  9. Yea, this should be so easy...

I'm trying to fault find why my nav screen stopped working, the workshop manual points me to fuses to check first, erm, cant find fuse box, even although I'm looking at where its supposed to be... Like in the cabin, how do you remove the trim to get to the fuse box beside the foot rest...

Totally wasted night between researching the what to check and tryin to find it...

    Cheers for input, ta...
