  2. sorry been busy with work and away last few days, so haven`t had a chance to update the thread yep car is *SOLD* new owner is a great bloke and is going to love the Z was a tight squeeze getting all the bits I`d amassed for my car ( but never got round to installing ) into his dad`s car Thanks again to Liam for his help
  3. I know a guy just outside of Brum ( nearer coventry ) who does very good work He`s retrimmed a few friends supras, I had planned to use him to trim out my Z but my plans have changed due to selling the Z I`ll dig out the details when I get home on friday and post them up
  4. Thanks for all the comments in the thread/pm`s/email had a few people interested but the usual no-shows when I arrange a time to come look at the car. I`ll get some new pics with the exhaust fitted just as soon as it stops raining So knocked a few more quid off in case anyone is sitting on the fence Here a pic of one of the GT4 rims I`ll be including in the sale, obviously have the other 3 rims
  5. the price for anyone interested from the club is £13,500 I`ll update my original post. pics are from few months ago my listed price on PH still hasn`t stoppd the raft of people wanting to swap me for a clio/modded BMW 318i etc etc adding leather to my car has to be a lot cheaper than trying to add the nismo kit & GT4 rims to a car which has leather....? thanks for all the feedback
  6. Another car being listed up.. Very sorry day indeed, having barely driven 2,000 miles in the 6 months since I collected her, my 350Z is going up for sale. Due to work commitments I just haven`t had time to drive the Z nearly as much as I wanted, and now that my work has just offered me an amazing job opportunity in one of their USA offices for the next 18+ months, I`ve decided to sell the Z. Car was imported by Jurgen @ JMI earlier in the year, so he can vouch for the car which I believe was a 4.5 on the auction sheets. Took me months and months to find the spec I wanted, I`d even bought the exhaust + wheels well before Jurgen found a car. Had plans to become and active member of the owners club as I had done with my Supra, make it to a few meets, put some faces to names, do some trips etc but I just have been so busy with work I unfortunately haven`t had a chance. Exhaust was only fitted about 500 miles ago ( not shown in pics ) & the GT4 rims are still sitting in my garage ready for the new owner to fit. Basically the only thing missing from this setup is a leather retrim imo, which wouldn`t take the new owner long to sort out at all. I already had spoken to a few places recommended by the club. Spec JDM 350Z 54 Plate S-Spec Manual 6 speed Black Full Nismo Kit Xenon Headlights Cloth Seats Brembo Brakes Abs & Traction Control Power Assisted Steering Electric Windows & Mirrors Traction Control Driver & Passenger Airbags Cat 1 Alarm & Immobilser Climate Control & A/C Stubby Arial Stock Wheels ( I`ll include the set of Nissan GT4 rims I have ) DC Sports Exhaust ( I`ll include the stock exhaust with the sale ) Pioneer RADIO/DVD Headunit with fold out screen + 30gb HD Genuine 8,500 Miles I`ll have the car professionally detailed ( as seen in the pics ) before new buyer collects 6 Months Tax 6 Months Mot Any questions or more pics pm me Viewings welcome - No Time wasters, Test Pilots and strictly no Canvassers!!! 350z-uk price - £13,500 [/u]
  7. Set of decat pipes which are surplus to requirements now I have my DC exhaust on. £50 ono posted collection possible from Central Brum i`ll see if I can rustle up some pics, but everyone knows what decat pipes look like -c-
  8. lol....dropping £20k+ modding my supra has left me with a good sense of when to stop this time round with my new car.... Always planned to fit the exhaust & GT4 wheels ( I actually bought them before the car ) and that`s it mods-wise. -c-
  9. think I`ll be leaving the tuck for the time being very nice note to the exhaust, definatey more vocal than my supra when it was TT with an aftermarket exhaust. Although the exhaust is louder and has a better engine note, it`s not at the expense of the motorway cruising note, which is still pretty good and very acceptable. Just need to get on and sort out powdercoating my replacement wheels, then I`ll be done with mods on this car.. -c-
  10. Dropped my DC Sports exhaust on this weekend, very happy with the results. Couldn`t find any clips of the exhaust, so wasn`t too sure what I was going to get but the Z sounds great Looks great fitted, install was a breeze...well compared to some exhausts I`ve installed. I`ll see if I can grab some pics + sound clips in the next week or so. -c-
  11. i`ve got some KH3 Kuro black from Nissan which I shall give a go and see how things match. I`ll post up the results good or bad...
  12. very nice car and well specced. prices seem to have picked up since I sold mine last year ( typical! ) good luck with the sale. my supra ended up going to sweden!
  13. thanks, owned it for 8 years and it`s one of the most reliable cars I`ve ever had....even when i`d doubled the stock horsepower.. had a GT4 years before and that was a solid car too. I just wanted a change from the Supra world, always loved the 350Z so for me always going to be my next car
  14. yeah the new wheels are almost ready to go on, I`ll post up some new pics when I have them sorted. Attached a few pics of my old Supra
  15. yeah 700mile+ round trip, nice to stretch the cars legs on a run. just a shame collected a few stonechips on the way soon as the weather clears up I`m off to get some pics up near the castle etc etc
  16. I live and work down in the midlands, but couldn`t resist giving the Z a run out and taken a long weekend to visit my parents and old school friends in Stirling. Rained most of the time I`ve been here, how it brings the memories back
  17. doh! search skills failed already! great thanks, guessing the Jap and UK codes are the same ? cheers -c-
  18. Hello, sorry if this has been asked elsewhere but I looked and couldn`t find anything... after the paintcode for JDM Black paint so I can get some touch up paint from Halfrauds or Nissan thanks -c-
  19. yeah I`ve known Jurgen for years through the supra forums, knew he could find me the car I wanted...took some negotiating with the seller in Japan but everything worked out great in the end. aside from the exhaust & wheels, not a lot else I`m touching modifications-wise as I`ve been down that slipperly slope with my Supra On the drive upto scotland yesterday, saw quite a few Z`s, waved at the drivers but guess they`re not on here, or thought I was mad...
  20. i`m in the midlands black was my 1st choice followed by gunmetal definitely the lowest mileage car i`ve ever owned, was like new inside... number plate was cheap, 30 secs in photoshop... I`ll check the diary for the 11th as I think I might be in Scotland, if not I`ll be at the Wales meet.. -c-
  21. Few pics..( hope they work ok ) thanks for the welcomes and suggestions about the exhaust. I`ll try the DC exhaust with the cats in then as I`d read it`s pretty loud, just fancied something with a little more presence than the stock system just need to get the tyres on my other wheels and I`ll drop them on as well. car has 800 more miles on it and a few stonechips to start the collection... -c-
  22. afternoon all. been registed on here a while doing research and reading up before my car arrived, thought I`d hold off till I had the car before saying hello to everyone... Spec Sheet 2004 JDM Z S Spec 6speed Black Full Nismo Kit Cloth Seats Stock Wheels ( Have some 25th Anniversary ones waiting to go on ) Stock Exhaust ( Have a DC Sports Exhaust+Decat waiting to go on ) 6,400 miles on the clock at delivery Ran a modified supra for 8+ years, and was quite involved with the various forums /meets there before making the switch to the Z, only been a few weeks of owning the Z but I`m loving the new ownership experience! I`ve got some pics which I`ll try it post up this weekend ( waiting for the rain to stop! ) Got my Z through Jurgen @ JM Imports, used importers before for my last few Jap cars and I can say without a doubt JMI was the best by a long long way , I`ll be posting up a thread with all the details and feedback on JMI for anyone interested. Hopefully show my face & Z at a few of the meets/shows over 2008 cheers -c-
