  1. If you're still looking mines on sale or return with a dealer - http://www.surreypc.com/vehicle-details.asp?ID=1191194 I was the first owner after the dealership and full service history from Beadles Nissan in Maidstone. Stunning car and feel free to drop me a line if you want any info
  2. Hello mate, hopefully I can help as I have a Roadster and I used to have a VX220 which I'd assume had a similar sized boot to your Elise. Boot is definitely bigger than my old VX and access is also infinitely better. Apparently you can fit a set of golf clubs in it (there's a diagram stuck to the boot to show you how!!). There's no ridgidity bar (sorry, can't think of the proper name for it) in the way like in the 350Z Coupe and to give you an idea you'll easily fit 2 small suitcases in plus some squashy bags. As a bonus there is a secret boot which I've taken advantage of a few times and it's where the roof lives when folded back. Basically when you open the roof, stop it after the cover has lifted up and you'll find another quite significant load area but you'll have to leave the roof up whilst it's in use. If you're anywhere near South London and want to have a look around mine you're more than welcome and it's also for sale if you're interested as I sadly need some back seats now; http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1483774.htm
  3. Thanks for the responses. Once I find out what's going on I'll post up on here in case anyone else has a similar problem
  4. Hi, I'm hoping you guys may be able to help. I have 313 model roadster and recently it has been playing up. The symptoms are, when you build up revs all is fine until you hit just shy of 2000 and then there is a slight dip for a second even though your foot has stayed steady on the accelerator. In normal driving this means it's a cow to pull away as you end up kangarooing for a few meters. It's definitely worse when it's cold but is still there to a certain extent when it's warmed up. I'm due a P3 in the next few weeks so wil get the dealer to look at it then but I wanted to see if this was just me or if it's common. Thanks
  5. Personally, I'd say wait for spring. Yes we're in a pretty horrific time financially but we are also in the depths of winter when any sports car is an absolute ball ache to sell. Come the new year interest rates will be lower still, hopefully the press may have reduced their panic mongering reporting and the weather will start to pick up which as a general rule of thumb means it's easier to sell a sports car, especially a soft top. Also, it will give you a few months to enjoy a car that has given you so much grief so far. By the way, what Z4 have you got and what are your thoughts on it?
  6. If you are planning on buying new, what about a nearly new one? I've just bought a nearly new Roadster which has pretty much every option ticked (bar tracker and Nismo kit) and with 6500 on the clock, for £27k (which I think is around the price of a brand new coupe before extras). I specced it up on the Nissan site and it would have cost £34k!!!!. May 07 model so latest spec as well
  7. Welcome mate. I've just made the move from a VX220 NA to an '07 Roadster and don't regret it for a second. Absolutely amazing car
  8. Spent most of Sunday with it down and can't belive how good the heating is on the motorway at 0 degrees with the top off!!!!!! Then again the heater on the VX was more of an asmatic hamster than anything useful. Still can't belive how much I'm enjoying it
  9. My god you lot are a welcoming bunch !!! Good to hear positive comments about Beadles after care as from what I can tell Nissan dealers have got a pretty poor reputation on here. I was going to try to find someone a bit more local to me for servicing (South London) but will probably just go back to them now. Cheers and hopefully I'll get to meet up with some of you in the new year
  10. I dealt with Avril to do the deal, Stuart for the finance and I think it was Nick who showed me round the car when I finally got to take it away. I've never bought from a dealer before and wasn't sure what to expect, but they were excellent throughout. May be a repost but it looks like they're going to be a GTR dealer as well. They were trying to get me to put a deposit down before i left !!!
  11. I've been lurking for a while but thought I'd better say hello now I am the proud owner of an '07' Night Blue 313 Roadster. Picked it up from Beadles Nissan (Maidstone) on Saturday and the smile has only left my face once, when I had to say goodbye to my VX220 NA on Sunday. It was an ex demonstrator, 6,500 miles on the clock with pretty much all the option boxes ticked. Sat Nav, GT Pack, Parking Sensors etc etc. Here's some pictures I've nicked off the dealers website, I'll get some of my own next weekend if the weather holds out;
