Brilliant Had to be careful how I worded that incase I upset anyone with our strange sense of humour

I`m the brains behind the United Nations of zed modding in the south east, I have my iRomanian who talks with a funny accent & takes lots of pictures(he has a pretty wife to). & I have a Doctor from Cameroon who can only operate when on his head & says SAY alot (he has a pretty cousin). Together there is nothing we can't do with a zed

I have an intermittent loud ticking noise thats coming from the evap purge valve. It`s intermittent, comes & goes when it likes whether the engine is hot or cold. When it ticks you can hear it from within the cabin, it does it at idle, disappears at 1000rpm & returns at about 1200rpm. Has anyone else experienced this? I don`t want to waste my time taking it to Nissan for it not to make the noise. If it`s a quick & fairly cheap fix I`ll do it myself rather than claim on the warranty. It`s No.1 in the diagram attached

If your going to get the car mapped, whey don`t you buy a one piece polished intake pipe with a built in Maf port?

Ahh I`m with you now, so you need something compatable with the oem maf housing with the 4no. bolts

You should buy it Adrian, your Ark has nearly worn through with you super low ride & enthusiastic driving of some certain Welsh terrain Or even swap it for some Wheels

I have for sale a 350z gear surround with black gear knob gator & the ac dials. The surround has 2no. holes cut into it where I had additional gauges installed, so not much use for a stock car. But handy if your thinking of running additional gauges The black gator is in good condition & has the standard black stitching The AC dials/switches are in working order although the AC button is missing. handy if you have busted led's or scratched heater or direction dials £15 delivered

I have for sale my Fast Intentions true dual exhaust with 16" 18" resonators. The exhaust is in excellent condition as the pictures show below. It has covered about 4k miles & the car has always been garaged when not in use. I`ll be sourcing some replacement gaskets as part of the sale. You need to be very careful, any changes to the flow across the maf will up set it, this includes the diameter of the inlet pipe, angle of the sensor & how far the sensor goes in. They are very sensitive & you can easily upset the fueling by messing with it, unless you plan to UPREV the car after fitting your filter.

Where abouts are you? & as others have asked, do you have brackets, intercooler & pipework? On top of the SC kit you will also be needing the following upgrades for a basic sub 400whp build: fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator larger injectors uprev tuning or other piggyback ecu & then to make it a proper build: uprev gt maf fuel return system oil cooling whether it be a larger sump or oil cooler maybe both if you intend to do any track work & be aware the vq engines are torque limited unless you go the whole hog & build an engine

Thanks Daryl The kit is the one I've removed from my old 350z, I never added it all up & do t want to. It's hard to put a figure on the total amount as everyone does their build slightly different depending on their personal preferences & requirements

Today consisted of pressure checking the inlet side of the car to ensure there will be no boost leaks, refitting the bumper & undertray then a nice road test. Not a single leak or fault that I can find Almost looks OEM with the Octet wire tuck, wish I had done it with mine Now the zeds are resting ready for tomorrows fun day out to see Sly (Kaiser Motors) & Tophooker (disc skimmers) where the 370z is having the geometry done & discs honed in to sharpen up the drive a little. Now time for a shower & then a few beers to celebrate a successful weekend of modding

Realistically it`s a 2day job, we still need to triple check everything, pressure test to ensure it will hold boost & ensure there is no chaffing. Plus I want to work out why the roadster has an Anchor? I know the owner is a sailor boy & all, but an anchor in a car?
