  1. very tempted hmmmm

You know you want to ;).

Right I wouldn't usually offer but since you're a fellow forum member... I'd be willing to trade for my bog standard 06 plate 350.

Lol, now that is a tempting offer! If it has an extra foot of headroom you've got a deal.

It's on a nice low mileage at 46k, Tax until end of Nov 2014, MOT until June 2015 with me being the fourth owner.

I purchased the car at around 30k miles and took it straight to Abbey Motorsport where it's been serviced ever since. Mark and the guys have done a cracking job making it a reliable build and a car that's easy to drive when you're pottering around town and a monster when you want it to be :teeth:. With the body mods completed at RT Performance the paintwork underneath is in superb condition should you wish to go back to orange (I'll post up some pics before it was wrapped shortly).

With a forged engine and larger injectors you'd easily be looking at around 600hp as this car already has all the supporting mods. Personally I've found 460hp on the road plenty, and it's nice to have the option to tweak it down in the winter months using the boost controller. As you can see from the dyno graphs it's running around 380lb/ft and 405whp.

On to the bad points. There's some yellowing of the wrap around the exhaust tips. It cleans up somewhat but not completely (you might be able to spot it in the photos). There are a couple of stone chips in the front bumper vinyl and the painted splitter has a couple of paint cracks. Neither are really noticeable unless you're up close. The wheels are in very good condition but do have a couple of marks. It also only came with one key from the previous owner.

I'm asking £12,200 for the car OVNO.

Please feel free to ask any questions. I'm based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire if you want to pop over to view it.

  3. I’m looking to sell my Z soon hence posting these up for sale. They’ve done about 3 or 4 trackdays and are in good condition but do suffer from the usual paint bubbling. By the looks of it they’ve never been refurbished judging by the factory white paint dot on the rim.

The tyres are Federal RS-R’s in 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 with 4.5-5.5mm tread left. For those that aren’t familiar with this tyre, it’s a more track orientated tyre but still fine for road use (just be a bit more cautious in standing water). I’ve even managed to drive through the winter on them where they were fine even in light snow! On track they’re superb, I’d say as good as R888’s in the dry but with much better wet grip and longevity. There are two very slight scores in the rubber that run across the width of the tyres which after some investigation is quite common with these. A local garage has inspected them and agreed that the score isn’t very deep and that they’re safe to continue using. Sure enough one score has virtually disappeared as the tyres have started to wear. There’s also a slightly blue patch on one of the tyres, possibly from a brake lock-up on the last trackday.

£400 collected from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (priority will go to those willing to collect) or £450 delivered in the UK. Advertised elsewhere.

  4. Welcome along and always great to see another Azure on the road. Still my favourite factory colour.

I've had an identical experience with Rebel as Ian. It's a shame their club went that way. The reason you got a flaming on FullyFuelled is you asked for people's opinion on the running costs of a Z having made it clear to everyone you're living way beyond your means. Have to say I agree, but wish you the best of luck keeping this one running.
