  1. The problem is there doesn't seem to be that many at all (at least not up North) Theres so many dodgy V-cars and grey imports its a bit of a minefield. Nissan dealers seem to be asking daft prices for the Z so its pretty tempting to have a look down these alternative avenues. What's your budget, mate? In an ideal world I'd want a straight swap for my Focus ST. So probably £14.5k
  2. Oh well. Never mind. It was sold before I got there. Thanks for the help anyway though

  4. I'm going to check this car out tomorrow. I'm obviously going to check out all the service history (ring a few of the dealers, etc). Anything else in particular to look out for on a car with 75k on the clock? I'll be gutted if I end up buying a bag of sh*te Cheers all
  5. Thanks Dan. Its a 2004 (04 plate) silver UK car but is not a GT Spec Cheers Dave
  6. Yeah its definately a UK car. I'm gonna go and check it out on Sunday. Thanks for the advice guys
  7. Yup. Thats what I figured. Theres nothing to compare it with on Autotrader as most cars don't seem to have done anywhere near that mileage
  8. Would it be a risk to buy a UK 350z with 75k on the clock? Car is on Autotrader for £13399 and apparently has full dealer service history. The price needs knocking down but any ideas how well this car would be running after 75k I've never had a jap car before, I know they're reliable, etc and I'm sure the engines good for 200k but would I be taking a risk? Again, any help much appreciated Thanks
  9. Just got a couple of quotes for a potential Z. Basically the car's an import although its registered with DVLA as a 350z apparently. Quote A was for a Fairlady import and was £1100!!!!! Quote B was for a 350z and was £558 Both quotes from the same company (Privilage in this case). Do I insure the car as a Fairlady or as a 350z? £1100 is absolutely ridiculous. If thats how high the insurance is going to be I'm pretty sure I won't be getting to join the club afterall. Its twice what my ST costs and that a group 16 (I know the z is 18 but still!!) Once again, any help /comments would be really appreciated
  10. To be honest I dont like leather seats. Had them in an ST220 once and couldn't get used to it at all. Is the cloth trim not good then?
  11. Sorry. Think thats me being a newb  Waiting for the guy to confirm the spec level now.
  12. I think it is, yeah Where is that car? Is it far from you? I'd get yourself down there for a peek! Its 140 miles away but that wouldn't bother me Really got my heart set on a Z now
  13. And thanks for everyones help by the way. Seriously appreciate it :teeth:
  14. Its a Fairlady ST spec I believe. Is that the equivilent to the GT spec then?
  15. I'm not having much luck with my search for a 350z at the moment. I dont suppose anyones heard of Maundrell Co Ltd? They've got a good looking car on Autotrader (looks like its an import) for £13950 Hope I'm not being too cheeky asking for help but I really dont wanna get ripped off Cheers
