  1. Yes mate she was mine.Glad shes gone to a new member of the forum.Damn fine car! And a nice new owner, who I know will take care of her. Blast from the past. I was the original purchaser and owner of this car back in 06 before selling to stanzed. God I loved it soooo much. Not to mention the hours and hours spent cleaning it!
  2. Hi stanzed! You'll have fun in the zed. I was utterly heartbroken when you drove her away last weekend. Still crying in my beer now, but I'm really glad the ol' girl has gone to a good home! Have fun! Don't let these boys see the sticker for the "other place" in the front window though
  3. Looks lovely Jeff. I'm going to cry myself to sleep for letting these go. Like losing a faithful old dog
  4. I've used Wessex Nissan in Gloucester for my last 2 services, and fitting of my exhaust. They are pretty good. If i explain that i don't want it parked next to other cars, don't wash it etc they do as i ask, don't charge too much and do a good job. Can't say fairer than that.
  5. My Volk SF Challenge would develop hard to remove 'speckles'. As these speckles got worse and worse with age i realised what was going on. Small stones/grit gets inside the deep dishes and bounces around, putting very small chips and punctures into the lacquer. Salt, dirt, brake dust etc gets into the small punctures and gets under the lacquer (well it's not a lacquer on Volks in a form of ceramic coating) and you end up with a right ol' mess - long story short, i'm trying to strip off the anodising and repolish my lips because they were ruined! Do yourself a favour and only use your Volks in the summer!
