Have bidded, but half tempted to buy now for that price
-
Nice find
-
IMO to get more sales it would need to be mirror polished
Or Carbon Fibre

Whats the issue with it? I am sure others, like I, would like to know
+1

Got a Sumo Power mock up Zed with 4WD conversion @ U999 which is a beast.
I've got a 4WD Zed which is a U999 too, absolutely a beast but you have to set the gearing up right for the track, have had 217Mph from it on the Nissan speedway track and need to tune the suspension/camber etc to get it to handle on the banked turns
Actually my favourite car is a heavily modded Porsche 914, as its damn fast and also handles really nicely. Been using it for NA races and it beats things like DB9's with ease
-
I posted this last week and i think its the same photo
http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... t=baby+zed
Seems that its a test platform of some kind, disguised to look like a Z, though it might be one of many things in reality
-
So, is anyone up for a game of this at some point? be good to have some races against fellow forum members
Up to level 20 and got some nice cars now, but my favourite still has to be a heavily modded Z
-
Cool sounds like i got the right one then
-
Funnily enough, it only does it when the engine is cold (i guess its the whole car)
After a quick run it doesn't do it, so i definitely think its due to something being a bit loose.
Mind you it sounds like quite a few people have the same symptoms so it does indeed sound like a common thing
-
i've bought it, as the link on one of the other threads was a pretty similar size.
Just want it to stop smaller stuff rattling around
-
-
Thats the worst case of the trots i have ever seen
-
take the little kid in the passenger seat with the toy out of the car
Quite frankly that will never happen
So its a bit of a common thing then, have to confess it sounds more like a heatshield loose or a loose bolt on the manifold. think i will ask the dealer to make sure when they have it in next Thursday
-
Got a slight rattle when i turn the engine off, when the engine is running at idle or revved its perfectly quiet, Listening to where this comes from i guess it sounds a bit like a manifold vibration
Will the Nissan dealer look at this as part of P2 if i ask them?

Thinking of upgrading the bose speakers to Infinity Kappa's, quite frankly the Bose speakers are a load of tosh
Can get the speakers for roughly £56 a pair, but it looks quite a long task in removing the trim and also making sure the front speakers have the correct spacer to make sure the window doesn't hit the speaker.
Any one know of any decent ICE installers in East Anglia, happy to travel upto 50 miles if they have a good reputation

Not far up the road in Cambridgeshire, actually going to Norwich next Monday for a concert at the UEA
-
Very nice

Ok, looks like i will give the built in one a go. Just have to convince the boss to allow me to buy one on expenses
-
Just working out what route i should take on this.
Either way i should be able to get a car kit without spending any of my money.
Now i realise the Z has the built in handsfree and i simply need to buy the bluetooth adaptor for approx £100.
However, i can get one of my Companies handfree kits installed via work and it won't cost me anything, i've been using a Nokia 616 for the last couple of years and whilst is not the most advanced it does everything i need
The question is whether its worth using the solution already built in or have a another fitted

I was shocked too, but he said he had tried most of the other big brands and then someone at the local Merc garage recommended them, he also said one of his mates with a 911 also uses them
He also said having had used both Pirellis and Michelins, the Falkens hold the road just as well and also last a bit longer.
I'm usually a bit of a brand snob, but can't see why its worth paying £50+ a tyre more if these are as good
-
Does it need 4 new tyres?
It needs 2 rears really as they have 2-3mm left, also going to change the Bridgestones for Falkens. a mate of mine has been using them on his Merc CL55 and raves about them, probably going to change all 4 to keep with the same brand all round
-
Nice one mate, just wait till you get her out on the windy B roads when its dry and the sun is shining!
And i've put 4 new tyres on it
-
hope it was worth the wait
I now know why everyone on here is so passionate about them, always loved the looks, but as a car to drive its just awesome
-
The wait is worth it, got mine today and its lived up to all my expectations
