  1. Hi Magrillz, Well i got the ipod and its so easy to use the interface is set up the same as the ipod interface. Yes i have the sat nav linked into the head unit thro its own seperate docking station which means you can also release it from its docking station and use it as a portable in another car. The B200P unit you are referring to would require you to fit a double din unit and costs a fair bit more.
  2. Hey Magrillz sounds like a good deal on the kenwood. I got the ipod adaptor for the alpine just waiting on the ipod arriving now and will let ya know how the interface looks tho according to instructions its the exact same as the ipod interface. Well in my experience of the speed camera download i had a card with the sat nav directing me to a site then simply put my sd card for the sat nav into my computer and downloaded the spped cameras. Now when there is one in the vicinity i get a message on the screen telling me the speed of the road ahead. Even if i dont have the nav up on my screen i get an audible alarm telling me there is a camera ahead. Hope that helps a bit for ya
  3. I never seen the kenwood on the display at the ice shop i got my alpine i saw the pioneer and alpine and took advice from the guy in the shop who showed me the alpine he had in his merc. Just loved it so went with that ....kenwood tho does have a good reputation and seems a fair bit cheaper.
  4. Be careful replacing the rear indicators make sure the new bulbs are seated properly before putting them back in or the bulb can end up in the lens and it aint easy to get out.
  5. Hi magrillz it dont say anything about it as i recall but the free download voucher is in with the sat nav. Once you download it you go to edit on the nav menu and update points of interest, its well explained so shouldnt have any probs. Yeh i'm well pleased with it, the guy in the shop did have a pioneer one on display and that sounded really good to just your preference as to what one you think looks best. I had to buy an alpine bluetooth which again works really well and is hidden away under the unit.
  6. Great looking car bud did you get someone local to do the bodykit for ya that you would recommend hoping to stick one one my car after the winter
  7. Hi bud welcome enjoy your car and the site, will find loads of help on here should ya need it.
  8. Hi magrillz, if you buy the alpine blackbird nav unit it comes with a free speed camera update for a year. Even works if you are listening to music it will alert ya when there is a speed camera around.
  9. I got an Alpine IVA-D105R, got an Alpine blackbird sat nav unit with a docking station and got the bluetooth adaptor to for £1250. Sounds and looks great got it fitted professionally so all the hassle was taken away from me. Could try going down that line if ya wanted
