Must have been expensive to swop to the ACT then to change again to the NISMO set up. How did the ACT and NISMO flywheels compare?
-
Need to get something like an TurboXS Utec piggyback and then get this set up on a rolling road by someone experienced with this equipment.
Expensive but you can gain around 10% bhp.
-
I'm hoping to go. Not sure which day yet. Nice to get a few 350Z head to heads arranged.

21st and 22nd of June for Jap Show
21st is test day.
22nd is the main show day

I dont think there is any problems the guy said add around 20%, 10% for propper race gear box (havent got one of them!) so should bring me up to around 300 at fly wheel
Not bad seeing as nissan prob got 313 in perfect conditions in a lab! Managed to run 0 to 60 in 5.4 secs last night using a friends g tech meter!!
Beat a 600bhp supra that struggled with traction
whats power without control!!
Will you be going to Jap Show at Santa Pod? Interesting to see how an '07 compares.

Don't trust the accuracy of dynos but this is good as a baseline.
Any more mods planned?

From Ben Lovejoy's site:
Once upon a time, you could drive the Ring safe in the knowledge that it is a public road and therefore your fully-comp insurance applied exactly as if you were on the M25.
These days, the rules have changed. The increasing popularity of the Ring, and the substantial number of crashes there, put the Ring firmly onto the radar of insurance companies. Almost all UK insurers now exclude the Ring.

Most '06 models have not experienced any problems. I have an '06 myself and it uses not more oil than would be expected.

still deciding at the moment, list so far
plenum spacer
pop charger (possibly)
exhaust (the esr own one)
coilover set
possibly brakes (depending how i get on round silverstone in a couple of weeks)
Tyres (would like to get some nice sticky tyres for good weather)
Appreciate most of these wont make any difference to drag times but will be interesting none the less
Id like to shed some weight from it as well but with only two seats and my inbuilt fear of getting a flat tyre that isnt easy
Stuey, that NSX is
does she use that for competition stuff or is the spoiler for show?
Plenum spacer and exhaust will you a few bhp, and the exhaust will save you some KGs. Standard induction on the Rev-up is viewed as very efficient so any changes here won't help bhp. EBC yellow pads are just about the best pad upgrade (I found countless rave reviews) and they don't squeal at all. See you on track at Silverstone.

lotuscc, i reckon the zed is capable of a 13.8, when i was driving it still wasnt convinced on the lauch, and i managed to terminal faster on a slower time so there is obviously something funky going on with my Launch V Gear changing
Was a great day, wanted a before/after visit to big phils.
ill probably put a few more runs in before going all the way to sunderland and back,
Hi. What you planning on having done at Big Phils? I see the next RWYB is 31st June. Might pop down if the weather is good.

Good time. We will have to set up some 350z head to head runs for the Santa Pod Jap Show.
I have a best time of 13.81 - determined to beat it this year
-
I just phoned them and booked. They were happy to take my money
-
I'm booked on track at 9:45am.
-
please add me as confirmed, thanks
-
Can't now go. £16 for two tickets and club stand parking.
PM me :-)

You can read your warranty in your handbook.
According to this any failure has to result from the modification for the warranty to be invalid.
-
I'll be there in morning only an hour from me.
-
I have a Blitz panel filter if you are interested. PM for price

Went along to this event. I was the only 350Z there! Beat a couple of the Imprezas. Track was very cold and slippy. I was wheel spinning in first, second and third gears. Best time 13.99. Interesting to see the time on a grippier warmer track with new mods.
-
Lots of track time available. Got to event website find the tel number and give them a call to book. £25 advance.
-
If it is not wet I will be there on Sunday to post a few times; hope to beat my 13.803 set last year!
Rules differ to Santa Pod in that you need a helmet if you run 100mph+ (which is a distinct possiblity in a 350Z)
-
I'm coming along on Saturday. Will be on track at 10:25; if anyone is up bright and early look out for an 06 Gunmetal.

Me and my girlfriend saw a guy driving a 500. We both couldn't stop laughing. Must be something about the shape.
Rivals a pink Micra CC for being the ultimate girl’s car.![](https://www.350z-uk.com/uploads/emoticons/default_lol.gif)
