Guy - Fookin' hell, that's epic!! I thought my trans-am trip was big, but at only 2000 miles it's not in the same league!! How long did that take you?? Did you have to get the car serviced a couple of times during the trip?

Jacko - West Coast I hired from Hertz at LAX. Pretty reasonable (as is everything in the US). They had convertible and coupe mustangs for hire but we opted for the convertible S4 on the LA-Vegas leg and the convertible 'stang for the big leg.

Played a live game last night, 46 runners at £20 a head. Just 11 of us left. The call is 1000 chips, there is one caller and then 1 raise to 6000 chips before me. I have 16000 chips and call all in with Ace King off suit, the initial 1000 chip caller folds, the guy that raised to 6000 adds the extra 10000 chips. Dealer calls to show cards , he as ace/jack i have ace /king, so i am ahead. Flop comes with 3 low cards so i am still winning, turn card nothing then its all down to the river and guess what? Yep a jack appears.!! So thats it i am out i would have been elevated to about fourth highest chip leader but instead i am going home. Was not too mad because i think i played right. Any one think different? Enjoyed the night but took non of the loot home.

So recall is Nissan saying they need a car back to fix something, whereas what most on here have done, is taken the car back to have something fixed under warranty?

And manufacturers usually only issue recalls when it's a serious safety issue.

You'll enjoy it mate. It's just your usual Caribbean fare, except they're Spanish speaking. Couldn't believe how cheap it was compared to other Caribbean islands for the holiday. Think we were around £900 for 10 days. If you like beaches, stay in the south of the island because the north is quite rocky. We stayed in the south and it was your usual postcard white sands and coconut palms.

You'll get 10 days 4-star all-inclusive in the D.R. for a grand easy. Was there in December and thought it was great.

At a guess I'd say it's because there's no air in the tube for it to react with.
